Weather:The rainy season has already become a distant memory, and you should expect only a little rainfall during this month. This is the beginning of the best season to visit Yangon. Temperatures are good, ranging from 22°C (72°F) to 32°C (90°F).
Clothing: Temperatures are almost the same as last month. Bring your T-shirts and shorts, but also some thin coats for the evenings. You no longer need an umbrella in November, as there will be little rain the entire month.
High season: Since this is the beginning of the high season, visitor numbers increase a lot, and flight and hotel prices also increase. So it is advisable to book well in advance.

Fantastic tour of Angkor Wat and Siem Reap
![]() We had a fantastic time here in Siem Reap with our guide Chhong and our driver Nikol. We had some issues with pouring rain for our sunrise tour and he quickly pivoted to rescheduling the following day and still getting it fit into our three day stay. Super informative and very gracious. Would definitely recommend this tour company for your visit! More

Things to Do
The good season for visiting Yangon has just begun, when you can plan indoor or outdoor activities without fear of rain. Temperatures are quite good, with a cool wind to perk you up while traveling.
Take a Walking Tour Downtown
Designed in the mid-1800s, streets in downtown Yangon are laid out on a grid pattern. You can find various shopping malls, business buildings and hotels here, the economic center of Yangon, but also many colonial buildings with a long history.
Although World War II brought much destruction in downtown Yangon, plenty of old architecture remains intact, making the city center unique and attractive.
It would be so nice if you could find a guide for your walking tour of downtown Yangon. Then you could not only enjoy the beauty of all those old buildings, but also learn more about the stories behind them.
This would help you understand some of the difficulties experienced by all these buildings, making your trip more meaningful.
It is quite a peaceful tour when you visit these colonial buildings. Enjoy the slow pace of life and store up some great memories forever.
Visit Some Famous Colonial Buildings
Built more than 100 years ago, various among the old colonial buildings are really worth a closer look.
The City Hall has witnessed various major political demonstrations, including a 1964 People's Peace Committee rally. It is a great example of syncretic Burmese architecture, and is listed on the Yangon City Heritage List.
The Strand Hotel, built in 1889 and praised in 1911 as "the finest hostelry East of Suez", is one of Asia's most enduring and awe-inspiring colonial landmarks.
Inside you can find teak and marble floors, mahogany furniture and canopied beds. Compared with other luxury hotels, the Strand retains more of its traditional style, even after a total renovation, making it more attractive.
The High Court Building is a huge red and yellow brick building in the center of Yangon. It was built by the British in 1911 and served as the seat of the high court during British colonial rule.
The high court was moved, but this will not prevent you from enjoying this great spectacle. It is also listed on the Yangon City Heritage List.
Enjoy the Beauty of the Yangon Evening from Sakura Tower
Located in the center of the business area of Yangon and close to the Yangon Central Station, Sakura Tower was built in 1999 by a Japanese company. It is a 20-story office-tower 100 meters high.
Sakura Tower provides high standard facilities and offers quality services with international standards. As an earthquake-resistant building, it is a good place for business.
Tourists can see the advanced Yangon from this building and can also take advantage of its height to enjoy the beauty of an evening view over the city.
