What an amazing experience. Jiang our guide blew us away with his passion for and knowledge of his country. He made our Beijing visit a memorable experience. He ensured that our daily activities were personalised and seamless. He was very pro-active and flexible, and applied a personal touch, often sharing personal stories and finer details.

In Beijing for 3 days. Laura is our private tour guide. She is amazing and very detailed oriented. She is also knowledgeable and always able to answers all our questions. Everything is taken care of by her from the moment we step into Beijing. Totally worry free. This is a amazing trip . She had also arranged a surprise for us once we know we came to China for our honeymoon, she arranged my wife to have traditional costume fitted so that we can have a memorable time at summer palace and greatwall. The pictures turned out amazing, and she helped us take so many great shots. At the end of the trip, she even surprised us with a small token gift, which was unexpected and very touching and sweet. Thank you for your warmth and sincerity, it's clear that she loves her job. Highly recommended to book with China Highlights. The entire process was great, and the staff is very responsive, very warm, very kind and helpful.

great time in Beijing ! Our guide Ethan was amazing . Our flight arrived late at night and as soon as we got our bags we saw his smiling face . He always had great ideas of places to go and extra things to do at night. He even organized a celibration for our wedding aniversary on the great wall of China, imagine coming to the top of the wall and finding flowers,wine & and a banner saying ``Happy Aniversary`` truely a once in a lifetime event . thank you Ethan & China highlights

I had an incredible experience touring the Forbidden City and the Great Wall with Linda as my guide. She was not only extremely knowledgeable about the history and details of each site but also made the entire experience feel personal and engaging. I warmly recommend my guide Jason. He was prompt, friendly, enthusiastic and well organised and quick to suggest additional activities when we had time. Jason also made sure I got on the correct train to my next destination and even made sure I found my seat ok! It was a really good few days.

Selinda Zhang was my guide for Beijing, however, just as important on my tour was Guo Wei who was our driver. He was a local who knew where everything was and how to get there without using directions from an app. He was able to drive to places that were so narrow that I was surprised the car was able to get through. Both worked together to make my visit different and special from previous tours. Selinda arranged the schedule so that we would best utilize the places that we needed to visit. We would try and see or do something along the way to or from an attraction including taking breaks for lunch. This saved us enough time that I was able to squeeze in another dance performance that was not scheduled. Similarly, she found out the day before that a scheduled attraction was closed and that we would need to do something else. This saved us from wasting time traveling there. Selinda was always early waiting at the hotel lobby in picking me up. She told me about the places we were visiting and took care of me when I had to go up and down stairs. She also knew where the restrooms were when I need to used them. When we had extra time she offered suggestions of places were could go visit. Almost all of the places that we visited were new to me such as Olympic Park, the Bird Nest, Old Summer Palace and Mao’s Memorial Hall. But we also were able to do drive bys and short photo stops at places we were not able to visit such as Peking University, Tsinghua University and CCTV Building. They were also able to locate a school that I was interested in seeing.

We had an incredible time in Beijing with the trip China Highlights organized to us. In very few days we could visit the most interesting places including the Mutianyu Great Wall of China, The Forbidden City, The Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace, as well as local Hutongs. We are very grateful for the excellent work and empathy of Ethan, our guide, as well as Miss Hu, our driver. They were very kind and helpful. Everything was reserved and thought of ahead of time. We look forward to the rest of our tours in China!

Nous avons passés deux jours avec mon amie à Pékin pour visiter la murailles de Chine ainsi que la ville qui regorge d’histoire. Notre guide LUCIEN JIN a été merveilleux, il nous a donné toutes les informations culturelles en fran?ais sur son si beau pays et sur les lieux que nous avons visités. Le chauffeur était également super, ponctuel et très bon conducteur. Merci à toute l’agence et à Lucien encore une fois pour nous avoir fait passer de superbes moments en toutes sécurité et sérénité.

We had 2 great days with Jiang (guide) and our driver Mr Qi. Pick up at our cruise ship at 08 am was well in time and we drove to Forbidden City first . On the way we had a nice lunch and my vegetarian request was no problem. Also our Rikscha tour on the bike was a nice experience. The next morning we started early to the Great Wall. Perfect timing with less poeple on top. We enjoyed the time very much and recommended a private tour !

I found myself with a free morning between work in Beijing and decided to reach out to China Highlights once more for a guided tour of the Forbidden City. I was lucky to have Selinda as a guide, giving me insights into the life inside the Forbidden City and also making sure that I was able to reach my next appointment in time. Tom from China Highlights was so helpful,knowledge and obliging. One party needed to visit the hospital and Tom stayed with us all evening and we couldn't have navigated our way through the hospital without him. Over and beyond the call of duty and all done with a smile and patience.. we saw so much .. Great Wall..amazing.. Summer Palace ,Forbidden City, Hutans, Temple of Heaven and a really special trip to Mao's mausoleum.. Driver was great too ...really 10 out of 10 to Tom

Our trip to Beijing would not have been the same without Armando as our guide! He was absolutely amazing in every way. His Spanish was excellent, making communication smooth and easy. Armando was always punctual, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. His explanations were insightful and engaging, bringing the history and culture of Beijing to life. He even helped us take photos, making sure we captured every special moment. Thanks to Armando, our visit to Beijing was a perfect 10/10—from the incredible tourist sites and friendly people to the delicious food. I highly recommend him to anyone visiting Beijing!

We went on 26th january 2025, the weather was very cold in Beijing, but the scenery is so beautiful, plus our guide Helen is caring and patient with us. A must visit when in Beijing.

we experienced awesome three--day Beijing tour with Colin. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites and also added witty humor to keep us entertained as we saw the Tiananmena Suare, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, the Summer Palace and other sites. Was a well planned trip by china highlights with both Yuni and May being very responsive and attentive to our online requests. The local guide (Mark) and driver are both experiemce and helpful too. Help to avoid congested traffic and long q at attractions with well planned timing of setting off daily. Mark is knowledgeable in china history and brief us a lot on their history. He also helps to take many of our memorable pictures for our 25th anniversary. Not to mention also their caring thought of giving us a bouquet of flowers on our anniversary too! Overall, is a good experience in beijing !

Our first time to Asia and China and our tour guide Ethan made the trip memorable! We only had one day to see some highlights and he did not disappoint , we seen all we had wanted to see and was very attentive to making sure we had a wonderful experience.we had a private tour with 6 of us and Ethan was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of wonderful information about the culture and history with us. I highly recommend this tour company and Ethan as a tour guide !

Tom was a great tour guide from China Highlights. He tailored our 2 days of sightseeing perfectly. We also had some great meals with restaurants recommended by him including a roast fish shop near Mutianyu. When the queue was so long at the Temple of Heaven and closing time was upon us, Tom quickly worked out an alternative route to get us in! I would highly recommend Tom and our driver Mr Lee from China Highlights.

We were a group of 8 people. Ethan was our tour guide and we visited the chang ling tumb and the great wall of china with him! Our day could not have been better!!Even our lunch was amazing! We are very grateful to Ethan because he taught us a lot about history, some fun facts, and he was also kind enough to help us plan the rest of our days here in Beijing. Totally recommend! Ask for Ethan as your guide!!

Guide was Serena Zhang. I just completed an incredible 3 full day trip to Beijing, and I'm still buzzing from the experience! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The Novotel Hotel was conveniently located between the Forbidden City and the Wangfujing shopping area. The hotel and room was clean and the breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. The hotel bar was a very nice place to relax after a busy day. I visited Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, The Great Wall, the Hutong alleys in the Dongcheng district, Temple of Heaven, and the Summer Palace, which were all expertly guided and left me highly impressed and in awe. The local cuisine was exceptional. As a vegan I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to accommodate my dietary restrictions but my guide Serena Zhang helped me find top quality restaurants with mouth-watering and satisfying vegan/vegetarian dishes. Serena was friendly, EXTREMELY knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and my trip was seamless, easy and stress free.
